Rustic Ranch

Over a century and a half ago, an adventurous family moved out west, and broke ground on this 100,000 acre ranch in South Arizona. What started out as a small family farm, soon turned into a large scale cattle operation at the turn of the century. The small ranch house began to expand, soon growing to 22 rooms and serval out buildings scattered around the property. From barns, to tool sheds, and additional housing, the ranch received little improvements year after year under its new management. At the end of the 20th century, the Bureau of Land Management acquired control of the ranch, and have since began the preservation and restoration process. While the ranch is no longer occupied, it now serves as a museum where visitors can catch a glimpse into the lifestyles of those ranchers from over a century ago.
